Tarot FAQs

  • How do you deliver your tarot readings?

I delivery my readings via pre-recorded video and then upload them to the Rumble online content platform. This private, but shareable link allows you to watch your reading in your own time and share with others.

  • I ordered a tarot reading, how soon will I receive it?

Most reading orders are fulfilled within 14 days of receiving your order. If I require more time, which is really rare, only if I’m having an awesome holiday or something, I will let you know.

  • How accurate are your tarot readings?

I guarantee to redo a reading if you don’t resonate with it, and in saying that, I’ve never had to re-do one, so that says something. Every client seems happy, and I’ve had people come back to me a year later and tell me that everything I told them in the reading happened! It still shocks me how accurate they can be.

  • What questions can I ask the tarot cards?

Anything and everything is up for grabs. It really needs to be about you in connection to something… and specific. Time is also an important factor. It’s more likely to be a better reading if we look at brief periods of time… max one year in my zodiac reading… otherwise it can be too vague.

  • Are there circumstances under which you won’t do a reading?

Most questions are absolutely on the table. If I feel uncomfortable about it, I will absolutely clarify with you about your questions to understand your situation better. For example, what is it that you really want to know about how this situation affects you personally etc.

  • Do I have the power to change the outcome of my reading?

Yes always. I do not believe anything is set in stone. You might get some Major Arcana cards in your reading, that would be typical of something more ‘destined’ in your life than not, but even still, an action today can change the course of your life… as can an inaction!!

  • Are you ever unable to answer a question with the tarot?

If the question is that convoluted, I’ll work to correct it before we ask the tarot. And every so often the cards will show me that the answer needs to be hidden for now. Sometimes my intuition will tell me not to ask that question at this particular time. And sometimes I’ve done readings where we go around and around in circles with no clear answer…. If that’s the case, the universe is letting us know to keep an air of mystery for the time being.

  • How should I phrase my questions for tarot readings?

Start with a clear idea of what you want to get answers too (easier said than done on the clear part!) and asking an open-ended question is usually the best approach, if you want to get some insights into life and what you can do… I’m not a fortune teller, so asking specific dates, names or situations that haven’t yet unfolded is asking the wrong person (go chat to a psychic for those ones!). I have a list of suggested questions on my homepage.

  • I purchased a tarot reading and didn’t agree with my responses. What can I do?

Let me know ASAP… I will arrange a new reading for you. If after a second reading, you genuinely don’t agree with the answers, we will jump on the phone and do a live reading in real time.

  • What tarot spreads or layouts do you use?

I mainly use the kachina knife layout for all my question-based readings. I also offer zodiac readings which cover the 12 houses of the zodiac, and my own intuited chakra layout.

  • Why do some tarot readers have different meanings for the cards?

We learn from different teachers who teach different things. Just like in any learning initiative that you undertake, your teacher will guide what you see in the cards. I learned from my teacher and believe I found her for a reason. I also learned to trust my own intuition and will be drawn to different and unique things in one reading that I won’t see in another.

  • Can you predict the future with tarot cards?

Yes and no… I don’t think it’s about a prediction so much as a glimpse into the potential of the future that could be created based on the actions you take today. Sound vague? I don’t see myself as a fortune teller, but I see the potential of future all the time, in most of the readings I do. That’s where the hope is.

  • What is tarot?

Great question! I’ll let you know when I work it out! Okay, no seriously… there is an air of mystery about them, but the basic thing they are is they are a set of cards used in an esoteric way to make sense of the physical world we live in. A way of divining sense out of the non-physical realms. Technically speaking, its cartomancy (or divination using cards as a tool).

  • Are tarot cards dangerous?

Not in my experience. Some cultures and religions suggest the reader is connecting with the devil, however, this couldn’t be farther from the truth… at least in my experience! The tarot can only really be dangerous if you take some of the things like “stepping off the cliff” literally (don’t do that!)
